The day had finally arrived. We are off to Scotland with Mike and Sue. All the planning swung into action. Day 1- Train to Edinburgh

At 125 mph. The countryside moves rather rapidly. Left London at 11am. Arrive in Edinburgh at 3.30pm. Far more interesting than air travel in this case..
Then the sun came out...we were approaching the Scottish Border.
Then the North Atlantic Coastline....
